This app is a rip off! It poses as a learning tool for introduction to farsi, but all it is is a series of images of the alphabet with no supporting explaination or documentation. There arent even any sounds associated with it so you can learn how to say the letters or words. There are no phrases or instruction on grammar or anything that would be expected with an introduction to a language.
As the previous post said, nothing more than flash cards with no context to the letter youre learning.
The app is useless. It is simply 32 flash cards with no way to exercise the writing. Buying it is not recommended.

This is essentially a slideshow of the Farsi alphabet. Each slide shows the various forms of one character, along with a word containing the character. The characters name and the words translation are written in English. You can flick your way through them in order or shake your device to select a random entry. A few features would make this more useful. It should be easy to add things like the ability to turn off the English until you tap the slide, so you can quiz yourself, or a slide showing all the characters for comparison, or an explanation of which character forms are which (i.e. beginning, middle, or end of the word). It would take more time, but be very useful, to have audio clips of the characters names and the Farsi word on each slide, so we can learn to pronounce them correctly. The hardest but most useful feature would be to let me trace the character with only its name visible.
